Born and raised in the beautiful countryside of central New Jersey, Linda Daoud has cultivated her love of stained glass from a very early age. At age 15, she first set up shop in an office adjoining her father’s roofing sheet metal shop and warehouse. Family was a very strong and supporting influence in Linda’s pursuit of the arts. From her skillful father, her supportive mother and siblings, to her uncle, accomplished artist and teacher, she had the foundation to build upon.
Educated in fine art, Linda attended university in Ohio where she studied art history and printmaking. She continued to work in stained glass and sell to local merchants all the while. She met and later married her husband, who has been a driving force in his support and encouragement of Linda’s stained glass endeavors. Their beautiful daughter is also a great support and helping hand in the shop.
From Scottsdale, Arizona to Avon, Connecticut, to Bedford, New Hampshire, Linda has culminated her journey back to where it began. Bazaar Glass was born in New Hope, PA to showcase the talents of this fine artist and craftsman.
